IAN'S WORLD!!!

My site about my love of films.

Everything you know is wrong!! Here, you will find my views on life, the universe and everything. But mainly on the passion of my life - films and film making.

Above you can see, lording over my page as they have over my "apprentice-ship" in the film-making craft, are who i regard as the masters of modern cinema, if not all cinema. from left:

Martin Scorsese, Krstow Kieslowski, Stanley Kubrick, Terrence Malick, David Lynch.

As well as my rants and wibbles about these director's films, there'll be stuff on my life at teesside uni, the world in general, and my continuing efforts to make my own modern film noir, "Under A Cold Sky".

As my first venture in actually properly creating a website, forgive some of the basic-ness, but the pics n info are all good, i assure you!

I'll be going through some of my favourite films, film moments and directors, with some stills thrown in for the sheer hell of it!

There'll also be some rants and pearls of wisdom from me on this increasingly bizarre and ever more ridiculously ficticious world we live in (one for the michael moore fans among you).

And out from the seriousnessnessness, there'll be photos and crap from the increasingly bizarre and ought to be ficticious world of me and others around the union.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!!!

Ok, might as well start as we mean to go on. The first Thought is...

First it was "Weapons Of Mass Destruction"

then it was "links to al qaeda and international terrorism"

next day it became "regime change"

but that really upset the world, so it wasn't regime change, it was

"liberating the oppressed iraqi's"

And then it was anything Bush and Rumsfield felt like, cos they were going in anyway.

Now then, given this whole invasion that breaks international law hid behind the threat of WMD and the insistence that Saddam's regime DID have them....

Well, we're waiting.... they gonna use em AFTER they got slaughtered and chased out?

Oh, and Saddam and 53 of his top men have escaped Iraq, with upward of $13billion!! Now, anyone remember what they invaded Afghanistan for? And where are Mullah Omar and Osama Bin Laden now?
